Lahore, May 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):On May 24, 2022, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a workshop titled as “Pharma Inspection with Deep Learning in Tablet Manufacturing,” which was aimed at explicating the challenges surfacing in the pharmaceutical industry.
During the workshop, Dr. Yasir Mehmood (Head QA, Saffron Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.), the guest speaker, delivered a lecture on the key aspects of inspection, with emphasis on the role of pharmacists in implementing the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and improvising problem-solving skills. Prof. Dr. Nisar Hussain Shah (Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy) and Dr. Kishwar Sultana (HoD, Department of Pharmacy) presented a shield to the guest speaker as a token of gratitude.
