Karachi, March 12, 2022 (PPI-OT):The City School athletes participated in the National Throw Ball Championship held at WAPDA Sports Complex, Lahore between 24th – 26th February, 2022. A total of 8 teams from The City School participated in this event which included 6 Girls teams and 2 Boys teams.
The City School Girls team showcased a brilliant performance and grabbed two championship titles for O and A Level categories. Ms. Dua Ali, from PAF Chapter was declared the best player for O Level whereas as Ms. Aliza Batool from Darakshan Campus was declared the best player for A Level.
Ms. Soha Shahid and Ms. Areeba Fawaz from Shalimar Campus and Ms. Sarbuland Akbar from DHA Campus were declared as the best emerging players whereas Ms. Hina Rafique from Darakshan Campus and Ms. Raheela Raza from PAF Chapter were declared as the best coaches for O and A Level respectively. We laud the sheer dedication, mental resilience and the team work of our students and coaches who have brought laurels to The City School on the National stage.
