LAHORE, An inaugural event marked the start of the thesis project exhibition for MFA Graphic Design final year students at the Punjab University College of Art and Design.
According to Islamia University of Bahawalpur, present at the opening were notable figures including Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, College Principal Dr Sumera Jawad, Chairman Graphic Design Prof Israr Chishti, Director Research Center Prof Dr Ahmed Bilal, among others. In his remarks, Dr Khalid Mahmood extolled the students’ works, noting their alignment with market and societal needs, fostering new business ideas. Prof Ahmed Bilal detailed the extensive six-month research and development period the students invested in their projects, emphasizing their innovative outcomes. Prof Israr Chishti stressed the institution’s objective to cultivate entrepreneurs and expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for bolstering the students’ spirits. The showcase, boasting 25 design projects, will be open to the public until November 6.
