Bahawalpur, January 12, 2023 (PPI-OT):Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages Islamia University Bahawalpur Professor Dr. Javed Hasan Chandio has said that the Jamia’s name has become global due to the large number of international conferences organized by the faculty in the last three years. He said that under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mehboob, domestic and foreign delegates participated in these conferences, academic discussions were held and our teachers and students were directly aware of the research being done at the global level in various sciences.
Had a chance to be. Professor Dr. Javed Hassan Chandio said that the importance of Arts and Linguistics subjects is unquestionable and there are many job opportunities for the students graduating from them in the field of education, print and electronic media and public and private sectors.
He said that in the field of archaeology, Islamia University Bahawalpur has multi-lateral cooperation with Cambridge University UK Signed an agreement under which the delegations of the two universities were exchanged and the research work on seven thousand years old Hakkara civilization is going on. Department of Philosophy was also established in Islamia University Bahawalpur.
