Islamabad, In a crucial meeting held at the Embassy of Belgium in Islamabad, the Chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari, engaged in discussions with Mr. Charles DELOGNE, the Ambassador of Belgium to Pakistan, emphasizing the continuation and expansion of humanitarian collaborations between Pakistan and Belgium.

According to Pakistan Red Crescent Society, the dialogue centered around mutual interests in humanitarian aid and disaster management, with Chairman Laghari expressing appreciation for Belgium’s ongoing support for humanitarian efforts in Pakistan. The meeting spotlighted the significant partnership between the two entities in tackling humanitarian challenges and explored avenues for future cooperation.

Chairman Laghari briefed the Ambassador on PRCS’s current initiatives and upcoming projects, highlighting the organization’s commitment to aiding vulnerable communities across Pakistan. He underscored the importance of international cooperation in effectively addressing humanitarian crises and sought further support from the Government of Belgium, especially in the aftermath of the catastrophic Monsoon 2022 floods.
