KARACHI, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has declared the party’s intention to reclaim the GBLA-2 constituency seat in Gilgit Baltistan by any necessary means, including legal action or direct appeal to the public.
According to Media Cell Bilawal House, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s announcement came after a meeting with PPP Gilgit-Baltistan’s Senior Vice President Jameel Ahmed at Bilawal House on Thursday. Ahmed briefed Zardari on the political dynamics and organizational issues within the region, highlighting the PPP’s marginalization in administrative and policy decisions despite being part of the regional government. The press release further detailed grievances regarding the Election Tribunal’s ruling in the GBLA-2 constituency, which initially favored PPP but was allegedly tampered with subsequently.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed determination to fight for PPP’s rightful place in Gilgit-Baltistan, emphasizing the region’s historical support for the party and its ideology, known as Bhuttoism.
