Lahore, March 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan held a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain and Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence here today (Tuesday). He was accompanied by Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, Federal Ministers and Advisors Abul Razzaq Dawood, Fawwad Chaudhry, Mukhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Shafqat Mahmood, Hammad Azhar and Amir Dogar whereas MNAs Salik Hussain, Hussein Elahi as well as Shafay Hussain, Rasikh Elahi, Muntaha Ashraf and Secretary Punjab Assembly Mohammad Khan Bhatti were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, views were exchanged in detail regarding prevailing national political situation and other matters of mutual interest. Appreciating the announcement by the Prime Minister about reduction in petrol and power prices, Ch Shujat Hussain said that now put your ministers on duty to keep eye on reduction of prices in the bazaars also so that the benefit reaches the people up to down level.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that announcement of package for restoration of industries is very good, similar announcement should also be made about the industrial estates of Punjab. On this Imran Khan said that this is a very good idea, Punjab industries will also be included in this package. Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi also praised the Prime Minister’s visit of Russia. Inquiring about welfare of Ch Shujat Hussain, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that I pray to Almighty Allah for your complete health recovery at the earliest. Ch Shujat Hussain thanked PM Imran Khan.
