Pakistan Cricket Board Rolls Out Talent Hunt Programme Schedule

Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for its Talent Hunt Programme, aimed at identifying and nurturing cricketing talent in the U13, U16, and U19 categories for the upcoming regional and inter-district team selections.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the programme will enable players selected in the U13 and U16 categories to participate in regional tournaments for the 2023-24 season, while those in the U19 category will be featured in the inter-district tournament for the 2024-25 season. Eligibility for the U13 squads includes players born between 1 September 2010 and 1 September 2014, while the U16 category is open to those born between 1 September 2007 and 1 September 2011. For the U19 category, players should be born between 1 September 2005 and 1 September 2009.

All age-group players are required to bring their B-forms for the trials and present their smart cards during wrist tests for age verification. The trials will involve 16 regions, each comprising several districts, including Abbottabad, AJK, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, FATA, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, D.M. Jamali, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot regions. This extensive programme is part of PCB’s ongoing efforts to discover and develop new cricketing talent across the country.
