Melbourne, Pakistani cricketer Noman Ali has been ruled out of the ongoing Test series against Australia following a diagnosis of acute appendicitis.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Noman Ali experienced sudden and severe abdominal pain, which prompted immediate medical attention. The examinations and scans conducted in an emergency setting confirmed acute appendicitis. Following the advice of a surgeon, Ali underwent a Laparoscopic Appendectomy earlier today.
The board reported that Ali is currently stable and recovering well post-surgery. He is expected to be discharged from the hospital later this afternoon. This development comes as a setback for the Pakistani team in their Test series against Australia.
