Liaquat Ali Khan’s Art Celebrated at Punjab Arts Council Exhibition

Rawalpindi, The Punjab Arts Council hosted an exhibition showcasing the works of Liaquat Ali Khan, a renowned painter and calligrapher, featuring over 60 of his artworks.

According to Punjab Arts Council, the exhibition was inaugurated by Member of Punjab Assembly Raja Muhammad Hanif Advocate, who praised the transcendent nature of art and its role in society during the opening ceremony. Liaquat Ali Khan, noted for his contribution to the arts and recognized internationally, including by figures such as Sheikh Zayed of the United Arab Emirates, displayed a diverse range of pieces capturing the essence of nature and the human condition through vibrant colors and dynamic compositions.

The highlight of the exhibition included an 8,000 square feet portrait of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, underscoring Khan’s skill and dedication to his craft. The event also served as a platform for emerging artists like Sara Musabi, Munahal, Faiza, and others, showcasing their work alongside Khan’s.

The ceremony also included the distribution of certificates of appreciation, affirming the Punjab Arts Council’s commitment to fostering art and culture among the youth. The exhibition will remain open to the public until May 8, offering an opportunity for visitors to experience the rich artistic traditions and the contemporary talents within the community.
