Lahore Unveils Trophy for Inaugural CM Punjab Pink Games

Lahore, The trophy for the inaugural Chief Minister Punjab Pink Games was revealed in ceremonies held at Punjab University and Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), attended by hundreds of female athletes. This event marks a significant step in promoting women’s sports in the region.

According to Sports Board Punjab, the trophy tour started at the National Hockey Stadium, featuring a parade with decorated vehicles, drumbeats, and national songs. The trophy was first showcased at Punjab University before moving to LCWU. The unveiling was attended by notable figures including Director Sports Yasmeen Akhtar, LCWU Vice Chancellor Professor Shagufta Naz, University of Lahore Sports Director Sumaira Sattar, Punjab University Sports Director Zubair Butt, and other officials.

During the ceremonies, Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz highlighted the importance of the Chief Minister Punjab Pink Games, organized by the Sports Board Punjab, as a significant development for female athletes in the province. She praised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her efforts in organizing the event, which aims to inspire and promote women in sports. Additionally, a bike rally was held to further emphasize the event’s significance.
