Lahore, Forman Christian College University (FCCU) hosted its Annual Advising Lunch on May 7, 2024, to honor the contributions of faculty advisors, advising coordinators, and chairpersons who play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding freshmen and sophomores. The event, held at the university, also celebrated the efforts of these educators in their continuous involvement in events and training sessions.
According to Forman Christian College, Dr. Atiq ur Rehman, Head of Faculty Advising, provided a progress report detailing the training sessions, organized events, and materials developed over the past year. He highlighted the importance of ongoing communication and team-building efforts and expressed gratitude towards the Rector and Vice Rector of FCCU for their support and kindness. The collaboration with various departments and the Advising Center was also emphasized as crucial for the advising system’s success.
Dr. Jonathan S. Adleton, Rector of FCCU, and Dr. Douglas Trimble, Vice Rector, addressed the gathering, commending Dr. Atiq and his team for their dedication to enhancing the advising system at FCCU, which directly benefits the students. Dr. Adleton, serving as the chief guest, praised the tradition of the Annual Advising Lunch and acknowledged the faculty advisors’ significant role in actualizing FCCU’s mission.
