Jamia Poonch University Vows to Uphold Strict Laws and Optimize Resource Use

Rawalakot, Vice Chancellor of Jamia Poonch, Professor Dr. Muhammad Zakaria Zakir, emphasized the university’s commitment to stringent law enforcement and optimal resource utilization during a meeting with top academic and administrative staff. He highlighted the university’s drive to enhance transparency and accountability to foster public trust and ensure effective academic and administrative support.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, the meeting involved discussions on various strategic issues, including the ongoing mega projects and the effective distribution of facilities. Registrar Dr. Abdul Rauf briefed the Vice Chancellor on current teaching activities and the involvement of students in workshops, as well as a visit from German Professor Peter Joseph, which is expected to open new opportunities for students.

The meeting also featured updates from the Directors of Works, Planning and Development, and Student Affairs, detailing progress in the Chota Gula Campus Sports Complex and other developmental projects, alongside student co-curricular activities. Vice Chancellor Zakir expressed his satisfaction with the university’s direction and stressed that all operations would be conducted transparently to prevent any form of corruption.
