BAHAWALPUR, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) recently organized an informative seminar at the Faculty of Education, Baghdad ul-Jadeed campus, focusing on the risks and consequences of drug use.

According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the seminar is a part of a series initiated by a committee spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Fayazuddin Ahmed, established to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of drug consumption. Dr. Ammara Ajmal, a Clinical Psychologist from IUB, led the seminar, elaborating on the mental and physical health repercussions linked to drug use. Several distinguished university officials, including Prof. Dr. Irshad Hussain, Dr. Maleeha Arif, and Fatima Mazahir, also addressed the attendees, emphasizing the significance of drug awareness. A sizable group of faculty members and students actively participated in the event, reflecting the university community’s commitment to tackling drug-related challenges.
