Faisalabad, The National Textile University saw the inauguration of the Faisalabad Business School’s Intra-Departmental sports gala on October 17, 2023. Held at the university’s ground near the Rector Office, the event marked the start of an athletic celebration for students and faculty alike.
The ceremonial commencement was led by Prof. Dr. Zahid Rizwan, the Acting Rector, along with Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Baig, the Director of Faisalabad Business School. Joining them were several esteemed members of the FBS Faculty, including Dr. Zahid Hussain Kahloon, the Sports Coordinator for FBS, and many other notable academicians such as Dr. Falik Shear, Dr. Hashim, Dr. Zia ur Rehman, Dr. Shahzad Iqbal, Dr. Rizwan, Dr. Aima Sabeen, Dr. Beenish, Mr. Farooq Jamal, Ms. Alishba, Ms. Mina Kharal, and Mr. Nabeel Khalid.
Ensuring the smooth proceedings of the gala, the organizational team included Dr. Danish Mahmood Baitab, Director Advisor Student, Ms. Nadia Shamim, Assistant Director Student Affairs, and Mr. Pervaiz Akhtar and Imran Ali, the designated Sports Officers at NTU. The event aims to foster healthy competition and camaraderie among the participating students and to highlight the significance of sports in academic institutions.
