ISLAMABAD, In a move to centralize student services and embrace a digitized approach, H.E. Professor Dr. Ahmad Salem Muhammad Al-Ameri, the Pro-Chancellor of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and President of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, inaugurated a new academic block and Students Facilitation Centre at IIUI.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), the Pro-Chancellor’s visit to the newly established facilities underscored the institution’s commitment to student-centric policies. Dr. Al-Ameri was briefed on the advantages of the student facilitation center by the Vice President of Academics, showcasing how these efforts align with the Higher Education Commission’s guidelines.
The construction of this academic block was completed with funding from Saudi Arabia, signifying the strengthening of educational collaboration between the two nations. The center within the block is designed to streamline student services, providing a one-stop solution for their needs, supported by modern, digitized systems.
Dr. Al-Ameri commended the implementation of technology in facilitating student services, noting the critical role of digitization in contemporary education. He encouraged IIUI to continue introducing similar initiatives that prioritize student welfare and employ advanced technology.
Praising IIUI’s educational offerings to a diverse body of over 30,000 students from more than 40 countries, Dr. Al-Ameri lauded the university’s leadership under Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi. He remarked that President Alotaibi’s student-centric approach and the integration of modern technology to address student issues are commendable steps forward for the institution.
