Government Jinnah College and Government College 36-B Landhi Secure Final Spots in Inter College Ramadan T-20 Cup

Karachi, Government Jinnah College and Government College 36-B Landhi No.4 have qualified for the final of the Inter College Ramadan T-20 Cup, having won all their group league matches. The cricket tournament, a showcase of emerging talent, is a collaboration between the Regional Cricket Association Karachi and the Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, Government Jinnah College triumphed over Government College For Men at Eid Gah Ground, Nazimabad, winning by 9 wickets. Government College For Men set a total of 119/9, with notable contributions from Rohail Nisar, Ali Rehman, and Abdul Rehman. Muhammad Dawood, Ghous Ibrahim, and Naeem Gul were standout bowlers for Jinnah College. In response, Government Jinnah College chased down the target with ease, scoring 123/1, thanks to significant innings from Ghulam Ashraf and Rizwan Khan.

In another match, Government College 36-B Landhi No.4 defeated Government Pakistan Shipowners College by 24 runs at IBA Karachi University Ground. Sufiyan Usmani, scoring 56 runs, and Muhammad Shahmeer Khan led their team to set a total of 136/2. Government Pakistan Shipowners College managed 112/7 in their 20 overs, with Noor Zaman and Abdul Rafay ul Haq as top scorers.

The player of the match awards went to Ghulam Ashraf and Sufiyan Usmani for their outstanding performances. The awards ceremony featured Jamshed Essa, Director of Sports at IBA Karachi University, who presented the cash prize to Sufiyan Usmani.
