Karachi, Dr. Sahibzah Bwalkhair Muhammad Zubair, President of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and National Unity Council, condemned the global imperialist forces and their acts of terrorism, including attacks on the Iranian embassy and the IRGC headquarters in Chabahar, during a Friday prayer gathering at Jamia Masjid Bilal Mazar-e-Sharif. He highlighted the grave situation in Gaza, where innocent Muslim children are being killed, and over 35,000 Muslims have been martyred. Dr. Zubair emphasized that the bloodshed in Gaza and Palestine will not go in vain and called for the Muslim Ummah, particularly Pakistan, to take a more proactive stance in supporting the oppressed in Palestine and Iran.
According to Jamiat Ulema Islam, Dr. Zubair stated that the ongoing Zionist atrocities in Palestine have deprived Muslims of basic human rights, including access to food, water, and medicine. He denounced the attacks on shelters and hospitals as flagrant violations of war laws and urged for actionable steps towards justice in Palestine. He criticized the suffocation of voices advocating for Iran, indicating that the terrorist incidents in various Iranian cities are part of a broader scheme to silence such advocacy.
Dr. Zubair urged the Islamic world, particularly the Islamic governments, to actively engage in supporting the oppressed and to consider boycotting Israeli products as a measure of solidarity. He called for a shift from mere resolutions and condemnations to tangible actions and sacrifices for the cause.
