Islamabad, October 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):Faculty of Pharmacy organized breast cancer awareness and prevention seminar on 18th October, 2021 (Monday). Dr Tahira Shahid, Director, Advanced Diagnostic Centre was the guest speaker. The Students from Pharmacy and Biosciences department participated in the session.
This event was arranged to aware the students about causes, risk factors, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, treatment modalities and preventive measure of breast cancer. The awareness session was followed by a walk within university premises. Honourable guest was presented university shield by Assistant Professor, Dr. Nadia Shamshad Malik.
