Islamabad, April 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): On the directions of the President, International Islamic university (IIU), H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, the university Vice President Academics Dr. Ayaz Afsar visited Faisal Masjid and reviewed arrangements made for Aitkaf under the supervision of Dawah Academy of International Islamic University (IIU). The Vice President was accompanied by Al Hassan, Assistant Director Protocol and Public Relations.
Around 500 faithfuls are observing Aitkaf at Faisal Masjid. The Vice President conveyed that President IIUI has desired that faithful, during Aitkaf be provided exquisite environment and no stone should be left unturned to facilitate them. The Vice President was apprised on the occasion by Incharge Faisal Masjid Islamic Centre Dr Qari Zia ur Rehman about that arrangements. He told that special lectures are also being arranged for Motakifeen.
Meanwhile, in a special message to Motakifeen, praying for the progress of Pakistan, Dr. Hathal also asked Motakifeen to pray for the prosperity, stability and oneness of Muslim world.
