Lahore, August 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) have been signed between Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab and two institutes of Azerbaijan namely, Genetic Resources Institute (GRI) of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies (IMBB) of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Signing ceremonies were held on 26th of Aug. 2022 at respective institutes in Baku, Azerbaijan. Prof Dr Kausar Malik (Director CEMB), Prof Dr Irada Huseynova (Director General IMBB Azerbaijan), and Prof Zeynal Akparov (Director General GRI Azerbaijan) mutually agreed upon capacity building, student exchange and arranging joint workshops for academic/ research progress.
