Bahria University Islamabad Announces Bid for Stationery and Cleaning Supplies

Islamabad, Bahria University Head Office (BUHO) in Islamabad is inviting sealed bids for the procurement of stationery, papers, toners, and cleaning materials for the fiscal year 2024-25. The university is seeking to establish a fixed price framework agreement with qualified suppliers through a competitive bidding process.

According to Bahria University, interested suppliers who are original manufacturers or authorized distributors with stores in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, and are registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, are eligible to participate. The products and services requested include various categories of stationery items, paper, cleaning materials, new toners, and refilling services for toners and cartridges.

Bidding documents, which detail the terms and conditions and the scope of work, will be available for purchase starting May 14, 2024, from the office of the Deputy Director of Procurement at Bahria University. A bid security of PKR 100,000 is required with each bid, and bids are to be submitted by June 11, 2024. The bid opening will occur on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

Bahria University has emphasized that bids must be inclusive of all applicable taxes, materials, labor, tools, accessories, and transportation costs. The university also reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any stage of the procurement process, in accordance with Rule 33 of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) regulations from 2004.
