Karachi, Altaf Shakoor, Chairman of the Pasban Democratic Party, has issued a stark warning against using Karachi as a political battleground, emphasizing the need to safeguard the city’s peace and order amidst rising tensions and lawlessness.
According to Pasban Democratic Party, Shakoor stressed the importance of establishing a coordination cell between police and other law enforcement agencies to prevent Karachi from descending into unrest. He criticized the current government’s handling of the situation, describing it as a display of incompetence that threatens to push the city into further instability. Shakoor pointed out that these conflicts within law enforcement contribute to a broader scenario of instability that serves the interests of external adversaries.
Shakoor also called on the lawyers’ fraternity to actively work against the conspiracies aimed at destabilizing Karachi. He highlighted the city’s resilience and declared that the local population would no longer tolerate being a venue for political conflict.
The party chairman’s remarks come at a time when concerns about safety and security are paramount, with Shakoor urging the government and relevant ministries to take immediate and serious actions to address these issues. He advocated for a more thoughtful approach to handling social media and public communications to avoid exacerbating tensions.
Shakoor’s comments reflect a deep concern for the dignity of the nation and the welfare of Karachi’s citizens, urging all stakeholders to uphold the constitution and maintain civil order.
