Lahore, February 21, 2023 (PPI-OT):A MoU was signed on 23rd of December 2022 between Golden Sun Petroleum Services (SMC – PVT) Limited; a subsidiary of GPT Software (hereinafter referred to as the “Donor”), and the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Engineering, University of Engineering Technology, Lahore.
Whereas GES is a common platform/software package to conduct interpretation of geoscientific and engineering datasets, and 3D modelling for geology and geophysics, petroleum engineering and mining engineering works by integrating seismic, bore-hole, historical field production and outcrop data.
Whereas the Donor has offered to gift ten (10) licenses of integrated geological studies software’s (hereinafter “GES”) to the University (hereinafter the “Gift”), which offer has been accepted by the done.
It is particular to mention that this event was officially arranged and managed by the Department through the permission of worthy VC sb and with assistance of External Linkages Office. Unfortunately, neither the news of this event nor the photos were shared on the University website and the Department. It is therefore requested to please look into the matter and take necessary steps at your end.
