Lahore, The University of the Punjab is set to hold the public defense of Mr. Safdar Abbas’s Ph.D. dissertation on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. The event, focusing on the sociological aspects of cancer treatment in Punjab, will take place at the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies at noon.

According to University of the Punjab, Mr. Abbas’s dissertation titled “Social Dynamics of Medical Pluralism in Treatment of Cancer and its Appraisal in Punjab” explores the intersection of various medical approaches within the region’s healthcare landscape.
