Islamabad, Today marks the solemn commemoration of the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Ali Ibn Musa Al-Reza (AS), celebrated across Pakistan with deep respect and religious fervor. This observance, established by Quaid Millat-e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, concludes the days of mourning for the eighth Imam.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, religious and mourning gatherings are being held nationwide in Imambargahs and Izakhans. Scholars, dhikrs, and preachers are highlighting the teachings and life of Imam Ali Raza, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to truth and righteousness despite challenges. The convenor of the committee, Professor Jameel Qureshi, addressed the meeting, reflecting on the Imam’s rejection of worldly power and authority, and his profound impact on Islamic history.
Professor Qureshi noted that the example set by Imam Ali Raza is a beacon for combating oppression and achieving eternal salvation. He urged that special prayers be offered for the alleviation of suffering, the elevation of the Islamic world, the progress and stability of Pakistan, and for the liberation of Kashmir and Palestine.
These commemorations not only honor the life of Imam Ali Raza but also reinforce the community’s commitment to his values of justice and integrity.
