Islamabad Commemorates Martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza with Solemnity and Devotion

Islamabad, A solemn assembly was held in Islamabad today under the auspices of various women’s religious organizations to mark the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Ali bin Musa Al-Reza (AS). The event, which drew a large gathering of devout participants, featured speeches that highlighted the Imam’s life and his contributions to the principles of monotheism and prophethood.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Dr. Farzana Naqvi, a prominent speaker at the event, emphasized that the Imam, a revered figure in the family of Prophet Muhammad, exemplified asceticism and piety. Dr. Naqvi remarked on the challenges faced by the prophets and their followers throughout history, noting that despite the cruelty and oppression by tyrants, the essential teachings of Islam have persevered. She celebrated the intellectual and spiritual legacy of Imam Ali Raza, whose gatherings were described as abundant in knowledge.

The event, organized by Umm Al-Binan WIF, Sakina Generation, Girls Guide, and Association of Girls of Islam, also included contributions from various poets and scholars who shared their reflections on the Imam’s life. These speakers, including Poet Abida Taqi and Sayeda Rada Arshad Ali Naqvi, further enriched the discourse with their insights into the Islamic virtues upheld by Imam Ali Raza.

The assembly served not only as a remembrance of Imam Ali Raza’s martyrdom but also as a celebration of his enduring impact on Islamic thought and the continued relevance of his teachings in the modern world.
