Turbat, The Law Faculty Campus of the University of Turbat (UoT) was honored with a visit from Hon’ble Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar, Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court (BHC), accompanied by Hon’ble Justice Abdullah Baloch and Hon’ble Justice Rozi Khan Barrech on May 14, 2024. The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Vice Chancellor of UoT, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor, along with other faculty members.

According to University of Turbat, the visit included a comprehensive briefing about the university’s achievements, ongoing challenges, and future plans, particularly concerning the transformation of the Law Faculty Campus into a standalone Law University. The Hon’ble Chief Justice lauded the Law Faculty for its dedication to providing high-quality legal education.

During their stay, the justices engaged with law students, addressing their questions and discussing the legal profession’s nuances. They also inspected the construction of the second phase of the Law Faculty Building, a project supported by the Government of Balochistan. The visit concluded with the Hon’ble Chief Justice planting a tree at the campus as a symbol of growth and regeneration, emphasizing the court’s support for educational development.
