Haripur, The University of Haripur (UoH) recently completed a comprehensive Self Post Graduate Program Review (PGPR), conducted in strict adherence to the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The review, aimed at enhancing educational quality and compliance with national standards, was managed by the university’s Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC).
According to The University of Haripur, the review process was led by Miss Kainaat and the QEC team, who were responsible for the meticulous preparation and compilation of department-wise documents and reports, ensuring alignment with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) – HEC standards. The review panel included Dr. Shah Masaud Khan, Director of QEC UoH; Dr. Tariq Raheem, Associate Professor and former Director of QEC from Abbottabad University of Science and Technology; and Dr. Najeeb Ullah, former Director of QEC at UET Mardan. Their assessment included thorough physical examinations of infrastructural facilities, evaluations of institutional resources, and extensive discussions with faculty members and students.
Over the course of two days, the panel conducted documentation reviews, interactive sessions, and on-site visits, pinpointing areas for improvement and offering actionable recommendations. The Vice-Chancellor of UoH, Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman, and the QEC team provided full support to the review panel, participating actively in discussions focused on advancing the quality of teaching and research at the university.
Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman expressed optimism about the outcomes of the review, emphasizing the university’s commitment to transparency and continuous improvement across all levels of the institution. The successful completion of the PGPR visit marks a significant step towards maintaining and enhancing academic standards at the University of Haripur, setting a precedent for future evaluations and quality assurance processes.
