Lahore, The Punjab University Center for Leadership and Decision Making held its first meeting of the newly reconstituted Board of Studies, bringing together a diverse group of academics and industry experts to discuss strategic initiatives and program enhancements.
According to University of the Punjab, the meeting was chaired by PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Khalid Mahmood and featured notable contributions from Center Director Prof Dr. Saima Ghazal, as well as industry leaders such as Dr. Jawad Syed from LUMS and representatives from Systems Ltd, Serena Group of Companies, University of Arts and Sciences, Fatima Group, and Infotech Group. The assembly aimed to foster academic excellence and enhance industry-university collaborations.
During his address, Vice Chancellor Mahmood lauded the efforts of the director and board members in their proactive approach to leadership and decision-making education. Dr. Saima Ghazal expressed gratitude for the board’s support and shared her vision for the Center to become a leading institution in organizational psychology in Pakistan. The meeting focused on strategic planning for the Center, including the refinement of criteria for student and professional recruitment, teacher selection, training, and curriculum developments aimed at meeting the evolving demands of organizations.
