Hyderabad, The annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Ruknuddin Al-Wari and the academic celebrations at Ruknul-ul-Islam Jamia Mujadiya were held today at Jama Masjid Azad Maidan. The event highlighted the contributions of the scholars from the institution in spreading the teachings of Islam and emphasized the enduring legacy of Hazrat Khwaja Ruknuddin Al-Wari.
According to Jamiat Ulema Islam, the ceremony featured speeches from prominent religious scholars including Allama Muhammad Sulaiman Misbahi, President of Jamiat Ulama Pakistan and National Unity Council, and Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair. Speakers discussed the life and spiritual teachings of Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Al-Wari, noting his lifelong devotion to Allah and His Messenger, and his impact through Sufism.
The event also served as a platform to reaffirm the importance of religious schools as fortresses of faith in Islam. Prominent figures like Allama Lakht Hasnain Qadri spoke on the significant role of such institutions in nurturing protectors of the Islamic faith who are blessed in both this life and the hereafter.
