Wah University Radio Showcases Islamic Teachings in Special Ramadan Series

Wah, The University of Wah’s UW FM 101.8 Radio has successfully conducted an extensive series of programs as part of its Ramadan Special Transmission. This initiative, which included over 30 episodes, featured prominent scholars who imparted their knowledge on various Islamic subjects, enhancing the spiritual essence of Ramadan.

According to University of Wah, the series kicked off with Professor Dr. Ziaullah Rahmani, a distinguished expert in Islamic Law and Jurisprudence, who spoke about the virtues and societal impact of Ramadan while also emphasizing the importance of neighborly rights. Following Dr. Rahmani’s session, Ms. Saima Riffah, an accomplished Islamic scholar and Head of the Alhuda Quran Section in Wah Cantt, provided a thorough analysis of the Quran, shedding light on the lives of Muslim heroes and the attributes of Allah throughout the month.

Additionally, Ms. Farhat Anwar, a notable religious scholar and Founder of ALIF Welfare Society, offered her insights on various Ramadan-related topics. Her discussions covered the purpose and etiquette of fasting, the practice of Sehri and Iftari, the significance of Itikaf, and the importance of Sadqa Khairat (acts of charity). She concluded the series with reflections on the end of Ramadan, stressing the importance of gratitude and contemplation as the month concludes.
