Melbourne, Pakistani cricketer Abrar Ahmed’s health has seen a marked improvement, with the player resuming bowling at a reduced intensity. However, he is not yet fully recovered and will not participate in the second Test match.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, although Ahmed has made significant progress since his diagnosis in Canberra, he is not completely symptom-free. Given the demands of a Test match and the nature of his injury, the decision was made that he is not yet fit for the upcoming match. A preliminary fitness test scheduled for December 25 will determine his potential return-to-play date.
