Kasur, The Rice Mills Association District Kasur, led by its President Malik Mohsin Nazir, has made a significant contribution of five million rupees to Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan for the aid of Palestinians. The donation reflects the Pakistani community’s ongoing support for the Palestinian cause.
According to Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, the delegation, including prominent members like Mian Ashfaq, Muhammad Shabbir, Ahad Jamal, Asad Jamal Advocate, and Chaudhry Munir, met with Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Sirajul Haque. The meeting, which lasted for an hour, was also attended by the party’s Information Secretary, Qaiser Sharif.
During the meeting, Sirajul Haque commended the generosity of the Pakistani people in supporting Palestinians. He emphasized that the hearts of Pakistanis are in solidarity with Palestine, with the nation vocally condemning Israel’s atrocities and providing financial support. Haque expressed disappointment over the failure of Pakistan’s ruling political parties to effectively represent these sentiments on international forums due to apprehensions about US and colonial powers’ reactions.
Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan, in collaboration with international NGOs, has been actively supporting Palestinian brothers and sisters. Haque noted that despite challenges, the morale of Palestinians remains high, and he expressed optimism about Palestine’s future.
