Faisalabad, The National Textile University celebrated the opening ceremony of the intra-Departmental sports program for the Department of Materials on December 8, 2023, at the University’s Cricket Ground. The event marked the beginning of a series of sports activities designed to foster teamwork and physical fitness among students and staff of the department.

According to National Textile University, Dr. Khubaib Shakir, Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Department of Materials, officially inaugurated the program. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries from the university, including Dr. Zakariya Zubair, Dr. Wasif Razzaq, Dr. Zubair Khaliq, Dr. Faiza Anjum, Mr. Muzamil Mehmood, Miss Ayeha Afzal, Miss Iqra Abdul Rashid, Mr. Farooq Anwar, Dr. Zeshan Ali (Sports Coordinator, Department of Materials), and Imran Ali Gill (Sports Officer). Pervaiz Akhtar, another sports officer, was also present at the event.
