4 in 5 Pakistanis think that the difference between the rich and the poor has increased in the last one year: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, May 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 4 in 5 Pakistanis think that the difference between the rich and the poor has increased in the last one year.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Considering the last one year, do you think that the difference between the rich and the poor has increased, decreased or there has been no difference during the last one year?” In response, 81% said there has been an increase, 8% said there has been a decline, 8% said there hasn’t been a difference while 3% did not respond or said that they did not know.

Question: “Considering the last one year, do you think that the difference between the rich and the poor has increased, decreased or there has been no difference during the last one year?”
