24th National Psychiatric Conference, organized by Pakistan Psychiatric Society held in Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore

Lahore, December 01, 2021 (PPI-OT):Faculty members and students of Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab attended the 3-Days, 24th National Psychiatric Conference, organized by Pakistan Psychiatric Society (PSS) held in Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel, Lahore. The conference comprised of 25 parallel Scientific Sessions, and Director Institute of Applied Psychology, Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique was the judge of “Clinical Psychologist Research Competition”. Three faculty members, Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique, Dr. Fatima Kamran (Associate Professor, IAP) and Dr. Saima Ghazal (Associate chaired individual sessions at the conference.

Dr. Afifa Anjum (Assistant Professor, IAP), Mr. Almas Irfan, Ms. Hamna Zahid and Ms. Zunera Tariq from IAP presented their Research Papers in the 3-Days Conference. Dr. Rafia Rafique, praised the efforts of Pakistan Psychiatric Society in connecting the Psychologists’ and Psychiatrists’ Communities of Pakistan and gathering them together on one platform. In the concluding remarks, Dr. Rafia Rafique, lauded the efforts of Dr. Imtiaz Dogar, President Pakistan Psychiatry Society (PSS), Ms. Samreen Riaz and all the organizing committee members for a successful organization of the 24th National Psychiatric Conference.
