Bahawalpur, June 23, 2023 (PPI-OT): Times Higher Education has released the ranking of universities in Asia. According to World University Ranking Asia, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has been included in the list of 201-250. Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has congratulated the teachers, students and alumni of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, calling it a great success to be included in the first 250 universities in Asian universities. Director Quality Enhancement Cell Professor Dr. Asadullah Madani said that according to the vision of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Jamia Islamia has shown clear improvement and superiority in the last years in the decimals of the global ranking of universities.
There is a strong possibility that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur will become the top university in Pakistan and will achieve a prominent position in other performance indicators. He said that recently it was included in the first 801-1000 universities in the world in the ranking of Times Higher Education and in terms of quality education it was included in the first ten universities in Pakistan.

Bahawalpur, June 23, 2023 (PPI-OT): IUB Female Martial Arts Team members Iqra Ayub and Sana Riaz have been selected for the National Female Sports Leadership Camp 2023 in Islamabad under Right to Play Pakistan. Both the players will represent their organization in the camp to be held in Islamabad from June 20 to June 22. Selected female athletes from across the country will participate in the camp.
Director Female Sports IUB Dr. Anbareen Maqsood congratulated both the players on being selected in the leadership camp and hoped that the name of Islamia University Bahawalpur will be prominent in this national level camp. He also appreciated the efforts of female martial arts in-charge IUB Musarat Bano and coach female martial arts Tariq Aziz, with whose hard work the players are busy day and night preparing for national level competitions. Dr. Anbarin Maqsood also thanked Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob.
