KARACHI: Arslan Khalid, the General Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi, has dismissed the recent confrontation between the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) as a staged act to mislead the public. He accused both parties of engaging in a contrived conflict over the allocation of misappropriated wealth.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khalid criticized the alliances within the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), suggesting that their rivalry is merely a facade driven by a mutual desire for power. He argued that while the public faces economic hardships, the disputes between PPP and PML-N serve as a distraction, with both parties historically uniting to safeguard personal interests and evade accountability for corruption.

Khalid questioned the credibility of PPP's criticism of PML-N, citing the mismanagement in Karachi and Sindh under PPP. He attributed Pakistan's economic challenges to both parties, blaming them for indebting the nation to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He claimed that the political maneuverings are intended to deflect from pressing public issues.

Khalid assured that PTI will persist in exposing the alleged collusion between PPP and PML-N, asserting that the future of Pakistan depends on the leadership of Imran Khan and PTI. He concluded by stating that the public has rejected these political tactics, predicting an inevitable end to their influence.
