Islamabad: The government announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products, effective today. The price adjustment includes a reduction in the price of petrol by 35 paisa per litre, setting the new price at 315.80 rupees per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by 5.71 rupees per litre, bringing the new price to 360.06 rupees per litre.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Energy issued a press release detailing the changes in petroleum product prices. The decision to adjust prices comes amid ongoing economic considerations and fluctuating global oil prices. The revision is part of the government's periodic review of fuel prices, which aims to balance domestic economic conditions with international market trends.
