Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his congratulations to King Philippe, as well as the government and people of Belgium, in recognition of their National Day.

According to Press Information Department, President Zardari emphasized the longstanding and cordial relations between Pakistan and Belgium, which are based on mutual respect, trust, and goodwill. The President noted that the two countries have developed a constructive partnership over the years, spanning various fields. He further highlighted Belgium's pivotal role within the European Union and reiterated Pakistan's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Belgium to achieve shared goals of peace, sustainable development, and mutual prosperity.
