ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has called for strengthened ties with China, focusing on trade, investment, and technological cooperation. In a meeting with Pakistan's Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, held in Islamabad, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of building upon recent discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Shanghai.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Dar instructed Ambassador Hashmi to actively pursue the understandings reached with China during these discussions. The directive aims to further advance the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, enhancing collaboration in areas such as artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and other sectors of mutual interest.
