Zardaris Commend Pakistan Army’s Anti-Terror Operations in Waziristan

Islamabad, Prominent political figures from the Pakistan Peoples Party, former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, have extended their commendations to the Pakistan Army for their successful anti-terrorist operations in North and South Waziristan.

According to a news release by Pakistan Peoples Party, President Asif Ali Zardari praised the valour of the troops who took part in the mission that resulted in the elimination of six terrorists in Waziristan. In his remarks, President Zardari emphasized the sacrifices made by the three soldiers who lost their lives in the course of the operation, stating that their sacrifices will always be remembered. He specifically paid homage to Farman Ali, a soldier from Kashmore, who valiantly confronted terrorists in South Waziristan and was martyred during the Pakistan Army’s clearance operation in the Asman Manza region of South Waziristan.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also conveyed his appreciation for the military’s anti-terror operations, particularly mentioning the successes in the Gharyoum area of North Waziristan and the Asman Manza area of South Waziristan. He saluted the fallen soldiers, pointing out the exceptional courage displayed by the army personnel who neutralized six terrorists in the Gharyoum sector of North Waziristan. Chairman Bilawal further paid respects to Lance Naik Tabsimul Haq, Sepoy Naeem Akhtar, Sepoy Abdul Hameed, and Sepoy Farman Ali, asserting that their sacrifices will not be in vain. Emphasizing the commitment to counter-terrorism, Chairman Bilawal asserted that Pakistan’s operations against terrorists will persist until the eradication of the last extremist threat.
