Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Condemn Dera Ismail Khan Terror Attack, Call for Steadfast Anti-Terrorism Measures

ISLAMABAD, the former President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, and the Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, today issued a strong condemnation of the recent terror attack in Dera Ismail Khan which resulted in the loss of police personnel.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, both leaders have expressed profound grief over the deaths and underscored the urgency for rigorous action against terrorism. They stressed the need for stringent enforcement of the National Action Plan to root out terrorism and restore complete peace by dismantling the breeding grounds of such violent extremism. They articulated a firm stance that those who challenge the state’s authority are beyond redemption.
