UVAS Researcher Prof Dr. Muhammad Ijaz Receives PAS Gold Medal-2023

Lahore, The Pakistan Academy of Sciences has awarded the PAS Gold Medal-2023 to Professor Dr. Muhammad Ijaz from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, in recognition of his outstanding research contributions in agricultural sciences, veterinary sciences, and forestry.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the prestigious award was presented by Dr. Khalid Mahmood Khan, President of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences, at a ceremony in Islamabad. The PAS Gold Medal is a national accolade given annually to only one scientist within a specified category, selected from researchers across all universities in Pakistan. Prof Dr. Muhammad Ijaz, a renowned figure from the UVAS Department of Veterinary Medicine, earned this distinction among all competing universities nationwide.
