UVAS Holds Solidarity Walk for Kashmir and Palestine Victims

Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore marked a day of solidarity, organizing a walk and seminar to stand with the individuals of occupied Kashmir and Palestine, protesting against the acts of terrorism and alleged war crimes attributed to Israel.

According to a news release by University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Nasim Ahmad spearheaded the walk at the city campus. Numerous prominent personalities, including Chairman of Sabir’s Group, Dr. F.M Sabir, Chairman QASF Mr. Qasim Ali Shah, Retired Prof Dr. Ather Mahmood, various deans, director chairmen/chairpersons, students from multiple UVAS departments, faculty members, and administrative staff, actively took part in the event. The procession initiated at the Vice-Chancellor’s office, eventually concluding in front of UVAS’s main lawn, after circulating the City Campus. It was noted that similar gestures of solidarity were observed across all UVAS campuses, namely Ravi Campus Pattoki, CVAS Jhang, KBCMA CVAS-Narowal, and the Para Veterinary Institute in Karor Lal Eason Layyah.
