Lahore, August 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged a seminar on ‘Pakistan Animal Identification and Traceability System’ in Akram Complex at Ravi Campus Pattoki.
A National Consultant on Animal Traceability with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Dr Naveed Ahmad Khan Niazi demonstrated the model of animal identification and traceability which was developed by FAO. Dean Faculty of Animal Production and Technology Prof Dr Saima, Principle Officer Ravi Campus Prof Dr Arshad Javid, Director Students Affairs Prof Dr Hassan Saleem and a large number of faculty members and students attended the seminar.
The purpose of the seminar was to address the value of animal identification and traceability in the international market.
