Islamabad, August 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): With this email, we wanted to share some exciting news about the launch of the Digital Prosperity Awards 2023, a new global DCO initiative that aims to acknowledge remarkable digital contributions and initiatives that foster the adoption of best practices, policies and strategies to enable digital prosperity for all and accelerate digital transformation globally. The Digital Prosperity Awards (DPA) are structured around three core pillars with sub-award categories, each representing a crucial aspect of digital advancement:

Digital Innovation:

1) The DPA for Disruptive Technology Solutions recognizing outstanding initiatives that leveraged disruptive technology solutions to drive significant positive change and advancement.

Digital Transformation:

1) The DPA for Decision Making acknowledging exemplary efforts in utilizing digital technologies to enhance decision-making processes, fostering progress and prosperity.

2) The DPA for Cooperation celebrating exceptional cooperation endeavour’s leveraging digital solutions to drive progress and prosperity.

Empowering Society:

1) The DPA for Ethics honouring exemplary initiatives that demonstrate ethical practices and principles in utilizing digital technologies for societal advancement and prosperity.

2) The DPA for Environment recognizing outstanding contributions in leveraging digital innovations to address environmental challenges and promote sustainability for a prosperous future.

For each category, there will be a winner from the public sector and another from the private sector or civil society with registration / headquarter in at least one DCO Member States. Winners from the private sector or civil society will be eligible for the Digital Prosperity for All. Additionally, there will be one finalist from global civil society for each category open to public, and the ultimate recipient will be handed the DCO International Prize for Digital Prosperity for All.
