Turbat, The University of Turbat (UoT) conducted the 18th meeting of its Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) on December 14, 2023, in the university’s video conference room. The meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, focused on several key academic topics, including the evaluation of theses and extension cases for M.Phil scholars.

According to University of Turbat, the meeting’s agenda, presented by Dean Academics and Secretary ASRB Dr. Adeel Ahmed, included the confirmation of the minutes from the 17th ASRB meeting, evaluation of theses, and Viva Voce reports for M.Phil scholars from the Institute of Balochi, Language, and Culture (IBLC) and the Department of Chemistry. Additionally, the meeting discussed extension cases for M.Phil scholars from IBLC and the thesis submissions of M.Phil scholars from the Chemistry Department.

The ASRB forum approved several cases for M.Phil scholars in both Chemistry and IBLC. The meeting saw the attendance of the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Deans, Director QEC, Controller of Examinations, and other ASRB members, ensuring a comprehensive review and decision-making process on the academic matters at hand.
