University of the Punjab Hosts Mathematics Seminar Series on Advanced Topics

Lahore, The Department of Mathematics at the University of the Punjab is set to host a series of seminars on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, featuring presentations on advanced mathematical topics, including applications in HIV transmission and wave transmission models. The event, aimed at faculty and research scholars, underscores the university’s commitment to academic advancement in mathematical sciences.

According to University of The Punjab, the weekly seminar will commence at 3:00 PM in the Seminar Hall of the Department of Mathematics. The sessions will feature three speakers: Minal Irshad on the exact soliton solutions of nonlinear (3+1)-dimensional Sasa-Satsuma equation using different methods, Muhammad Awais discussing a mathematical model for Syphilis-induced HIV transmission, and Muhammad Arslan on wave transmission to the improved Boussinesq equation and the doubly dispersive equation using the unified auxiliary equation method algorithms with applications. These seminars are part of a continued effort to provide a platform for sharing cutting-edge research and fostering dialogue among mathematicians and scholars in related fields.
